Indonesia-Vietnam Friendship Association Hosted Ramadan Iftar 2026 at Raffles Hotel Jakarta
On Tuesday, 10 March 2026, Indonesia–Vietnam Friendship Association (IVFA) hosted Ramadan Iftar 2026 event “Building on Trust, Growing Together: Vietnam–Indonesia Partnership” at Raffles Hotel Jakarta.
This event served as a platform to strengthen the longstanding friendship and encourage broader collaboration between Indonesia and Vietnam across various sectors. IVFA Ramadhan Iftar 2026 began with welcoming speech by Mr. Teguh Yodiantara Prajitno, Head of Animal Health and Livestock Equipment at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. This was followed by opening remarks from Mr. Budiarsa Sastrawinata, Chairman of IVFA Executive Committee.
During the event, special remarks were delivered by Mrs. Retno Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia for 2014–2024 period. Meanwhile, keynote speech was presented by Mr. Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) of Republic Indonesia.
The discussion session featured distinguished speakers including Mr. Ta Van Thong, Ambassador of Vietnam to Indonesia; Mr. Denny Abdi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and former Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam (2020–2025); and Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, Chairman/CEO of Vingroup Asia and CEO of VinFast Asia. The panel shared insights on strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding economic cooperation opportunities between Indonesia and Vietnam.
The event was also attended by Mr. Armanatha Christiawan Nasir, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic Indonesia; Mr. Leonardo A.A. Teguh Sambodo, Deputy for Food, Natural Resources, and Environment at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas; Mrs. Vivi Yulaswati, Deputy for Economic and Digital Transformation at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas; Mr. Rachmat Indrajaya, Director of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk; Mr. Arif Widjaja, Chief Operating Officer of Poultry Indonesia at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk; and Mr. Ito Sumardi, Commissioner of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk and former Indonesian Ambassador to Myanmar (2013–2018).
Through this event, IVFA aims to further strengthen the partnership between Indonesia and Vietnam, particularly in promoting economic cooperation, trade, and sustainable development in the region.
